What is career life planning?
- It is a continuous and lifelong process that enables students to achieve different goals at various stages of life.
- During the schooling stage, the aim is to cultivate students' abilities to understand themselves, make personal plans, set goals, reflect, revise, and recognize various pathways for further studies, employment, and training, as well as understand professional ethics and workplace information.
The three major elements of career life planning:
- Self-awareness and Development
- Career Exploration
- Career Life Planning and Management
Goals and Philosophy:
- Assist students in preparing for post-school education, employment, and life.
- Enable students to establish and pursue reasonable personal/career goals and unlock their potential.
- We believe that for students with physical disabilities, successful career planning should involve self-expectation along with the confidence and actions to overcome physical and mental challenges.
